The Team
HireLab was founded by students from UC Berkeley and Stanford University who experienced firsthand how difficult it is to stand out in competitive job markets, even with strong qualifications.
After seeing countless talented friends and peers struggle to get interviews despite impressive backgrounds, we realized the problem wasn't lack of skills. It was presentation. Resumes were getting filtered out by ATS systems or overlooked by recruiters because they didn't speak the language of the companies they were applying to.
We combined our expertise in AI, product design, and career development to build HireLab: a tool that helps anyone, whatever their background, present their experience in a way that resonates with hiring managers and passes through automated filters.
